Splicing Machine

Splicing two fiber optic cables together is known as fiber optic splicing and for it, the Splicing Machine is used. When cable runs are too lengthy for a single length of fiber or when putting two distinct types of cable together, such as a 48-fiber cable to four 12-fiber cables, fiber splicing is the preferable option. When a buried fiber optic cable is accidentally broken, a splicing machine is used to repair it. Splicing involves employing the machine to precisely align the two fiber ends, then using heat or an electric arc to fuse the glass ends together.
